UE – Cimeira da Igualdade : Paris 29, 30 de Setembro

A Presidência Francesa do Conselho da União Europeia (UE) promove nos próximos dias 29 e 30 de Setembro, no Instituto do Mundo Árabe, em Paris, a segunda Cimeira da Igualdade da UE.

Esta segunda Cimeira sucede a realizada pela Presidência Alemã durante o ano de 2007, Ano Europeu da Igualdade de Oportunidades para Todos/as, o qual foi encerrado pela Presidência Portuguesa do Conselho da União Europeia.

O objectivo da Cimeira será o de realizar um ponto de situação sobre os compromissos assumidos pelos Estados Membros da UE durante o Ano Europeu da Igualdade de Oportunidades para Todos/as e expressos na Resolução do Conselho adoptada em Novembro de 2007.
